The Baby Launching Video was reported by a high school teacher who heard about the video from students, saw the video on YouTube, and worried for the baby’s safety.
Because the teen is a minor, his name has not been released but the Baby Launching Video will certainly gain him time in juvenile detention for cruelty to a child.
“This is going to be handled in juvenile court,” stated Colonel Duane Sepp of the Lee County Sheriff’s office. “I don’t think it’s going to be as funny as what he originally thought it was.”
The infant in the Baby Launching Video was left in the care of the family of the teen who filmed the event. The 8 month old baby, thankfully, was unharmed.

I believe that the 16 should have been charged for allowing this to happen. He is old enough to no that you don’t do that to child. Any child at all could have been hurt.
