Martellus Bennett and his brother made the video in fun and said that he does not find it racially offensive but critics say that black people shown eating fried chicken and watermelon is an offensive stereotype.
We thought the rules went like this:
- Black people can make fun of black people
- Black people can make fun of white people
- White people cannot make fun of black people
- White people cannot make fun of anyone but themselves
Lighten up people. Haven’t we gotten past the point where anything making fun of black stereotypes is offensive?
