Steve McNair Funeral Pictures – Steve McNair funeral pictures taken at the NFL star’s memorial service on July 11, 2009.

The Steve McNair funeral pictures were taken just after the service at Griffith Cemetery near Prentiss, Mississippi on Saturday. Photos were prohibited during the service.

Steve McNair’s wife. Mechelle, and young son held up amazingly well during the service though his mother, Lucille McNair, understandably breaks down.

It was a sad day for family, friends, and fans as can be seen in the Steve McNair funeral photos. Please leave your messages of condolence in the comments section below.

I am a firm believer of the Bible, you reap what you sow. I hate the fact that someone taken a life that they did not give. Only God knows. When men began to look for love in all the wrong places this is the kind of evilness that they stumble upon. My heart goes out to his wife because I know she has a lot of hurt in her heart. My prayers goes out to his mother for the lost of her child. My prayers goes out for the 20 year old woman because her parents lost a child as well. This world is full of evil spirits and this is just one of the stories that was told.

For the many people who find it hard to cope with a death, grief counseling often can help them make the transition. Its goal is to help people grieve within a normal, healthy period of time and eventually resume their daily lives. Grief counseling can be a long-term process, a short-term affair or even a one-off, trumny and can occur on a one-to-one basis or in groups

I had the pleasure of meeting Lucille and Steve at Baptist Hospital. I am a nurse. I feel so much sadness for Lucille, Mechelle and their children, and the rest of the family. My prayers are with you and I hope you are all blessed in some big way in this life. Steve signed a scrub top for me (at the time, I had no prior knowledge who is was), until Lucille told me. I will always treasure it. God Bless your family. CH

I wish I could say i’m sorry for Mr. McNair but if he had been at home wth his beautful wife where he should Rhave been this horrible crime my have been prevented. He not only lost his life with his selfish actions, he also devastated several other lives as well who had no control over the situation. God did not give us rules to follow for nothing. My heart goes out to his widow and to his children who will now have to grow up without him.
