Ruben Studdard, 29, and Sura Zuri McCants, full name Surata Zuri McCants, got their marriage license just before noon Monday in Shelby County, Alabama.
The Alabama weddding license for Ruben Studdard and Sura McCants is good for only 30 days, so it may be every bride’s dream - a June wedding.
An eyewitness who saw the celebrity couple filling out their marriage license paperwork said, “They looked really happy.”

I am so happy for him… He is picked on so much because of his size but thank God she was able to look pass that. Hopefully together they can work on his weight issues…I am really happy for them and I pray that God blesses their union and that nothing come against it!
