Heather M. Snively – Before being killed by Korena Roberts and stuffed in a crawlspace, Heather M. Snively answered a Craigslist ad placed by Roberts seeking baby clothes, not knowing Roberts was a homocidal maniac.

Eight months pregnant, Heather M. Snively spoke with Roberts several times before agreeing to meet her.
“I guess they decided to meet and I guess that was the wrong thing to do,” Heather’s mother, Heidi Kidd said. “But Heather’s always been a very trusting person.”
Once inside Korena Roberts home, Heather Megan Snively was stabbed to death and her belly cut open so Roberts, who had been pretending to be pregnant to keep her boyfriend, could steal her unborn baby.

Oddly, Roberts already had two other children who were staying with friends at the time Snively was killed for her unborn child.
The male baby did not survive the brutal attack on his mother, which in turn led to the 911 call from Korena Roberts about a newborn baby in distress that ultimately led to Roberts arrest for murdering Snively.
According to EMS first responders, “The man was performing CPR on the child at the direction of the 911 personnel. The woman, 28-year old Korena Elaine Roberts, told the rescuers that she had just delivered the child.”
Rescuers observed a large amount of blood in the house and decided to quickly send the child and Korena Roberts to St. Vincent’s Hospital.
“Doctors at the hospital were not able to revive the baby and they also discovered that Ms. Roberts had not delivered a child at anytime in the recent past,” Sgt. David Thompson with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office was called and after interviewing Roberts and her boyfriend, went to the home and found recently deceased 21-year-old Heather Megan Snively in the crawlspace of the house.
Heidi Kidd said her daughter Heather was eight months pregnant, and Snively’s Facebook photo shows her lifting up her pink shirt to expose a large belly.
Snively and her boyfriend, identified by Kidd as Christopher Popp, had only recently moved to Oregon from Maryland. Popp, the baby’s father, had gotten a better job, so the couple moved west.
Kidd said her first grandson was going to be named John Steven.
“I’m still in shock; it hasn’t hit me,” she said. “I mean, that initial phone call; I just couldn’t believe it. I just could not believe I was talking about my own child.”

I do not post too much, but this was worth the read. Craigslist delivers in many different ways. I read a post on some site about a guy who wanted to buy a car for his gf, and he came across an ad with Hitler hidden text… Very odd. Only on Craigslist I guess.

“At this time, it has not been determined if [Snively] died because of head wounds she received or as a result of cutting injuries she received to her abdomen,” said a Monday statement from the Washington County, Oregon, Sheriff’s Office. “The autopsy determined that Ms. Snively’s son was removed from her womb after she had been cut open.”
Additional testing is needed to determine whether the infant died before or after he was removed from Snively’s body, the statement said.
Roberts had been telling friends and family for months that she was pregnant, police said, and had told many of those people, including her live-in boyfriend, that she was carrying twins.
