David Carradine Death Not Suicide – The alleged suicide death of David Carradine was not suicide, but an accidental strangling.
Carradine’s death has all the hallmarks of auto-erotic asphyxiation, or masturbation enhanced by strangulation, which when it goes wrong is often mistaken for suicide.
The David Carradine auto-erotic asphyxiation hypothesis fits the evidence better than a straight suicide because why would you include a loop around your genitals, then kneel to hang yourself and then fall back into the wardrobe instead of just hanging yourself from a higher position.
The pain from the rope tightening around your genitals as you pass out is supposed to “jerk” you back to consciousness so you don’t accidentally kill yourself.
Everyone assumes Carradine committed suicide because he’d talked of his fascination with staring death in the face before, including this 2004 interview:
“Look, there was a period in my life when I had a single action Colt 45, loaded, in my desk drawer.
And every night I’d take it out and think about blowing my head off, and then decide not to and go on with my life. Put it back in the drawer and open up the laptop and continue writing my autobiography or whatever. But it was just to see.”
Thai police said the 72-year-old actor was found by a hotel maid sitting in a wardrobe with a cord around his neck and genitals.
Carradine’s body was taken to Chulalongkorn Hospital for an autopsy, with initial autopsy results to be released in two days.
The actor was in Thailand filming his latest film, “Stretch”, according to his personal manager Chuck Binder, and was staying at a 5-star luxury hotel in Bangkok, Swissotel Nai Lert Park.

(CNN) — American actor David Carradine has been found dead, hanging by a nylon rope in a hotel room closet in Bangkok, Thailand, according a Thai police official.
The rope was believed to be from the hotel room curtains, Bangkok Police Lt. Col. Pirom Chanpirom said Thursday.
He said investigators found no sign of forced entry into Carradine’s room.
An autopsy was being conducted at a Bangkok hospital, but no results will be available for another day, he said.

Kung Fu and Kill Bill star David Carradine, who was found dead in a Bangkok hotel room yesterday, might have died from a botched attempt at auto-erotic asphyxiation, Thai police said today.
“There was a rope tied around his neck and another rope tied to his genitals, and the two ropes were tied together and they hung in the closet,” Lieutenant General Worapong Siewpreecha told reporters.
“Under these circumstances we cannot be sure that he committed suicide.”
Auto-erotic asphyxiation is a dangerous practice which was linked to the untimely death of Australian pop singer Michael Hutchence in 1997, who was also found dead in a luxury hotel room.
Oxygen is cut off to the brain to stimulate sexual arousal, but it is thought to cause hundreds of deaths per year in the United States.
General Worapong said the production crew had told police the 72-year-old actor “drank beer from morning until evening the day before he was found dead”.
An autopsy report was expected within the next day. Carradine’s hotel room had been dusted for fingerprints and police were testing a drink found in the room.
Police have also asked the United States embassy for permission to question his wife, General Worapong said.
No bruises were found on Carradine’s body, and security camera footage showed no-one entering or leaving Carradine’s hotel room, which had been locked from the inside.

Tell me a man as bright, alert & gifted as David
doesn’t know how to get his jollies-off correctly? In other words, if he was into this, that he doesn’t know how to do it right. I’m sure he’s had practice.
Perhaps many die a year, hundreds & perhaps there is no other explanation, according to the evidence.
Let’s see what the autopsy says & the FBI investigation concludes.

My son accidentally hanged himself doing “choke and release”. Not sexual, but for the “rush”. He was alone, blacked out and fell.
No matter how the death happens there is family left behind.
I find so many disgusting remarks and jabs and it makes me sick.
Grow up and get some class about yourselves.
What if this was one of YOUR family members?
He was a HUMAN BEING! (and a good one at that)
Stop acting like it was nothing but an incident that happened just for you to make fun of.
My heart aches for this family and every family who has suffered the loss of a loved one. It really does not matter HOW the death happened, IT IS A GREAT LOSS.

Death comes to everyone and as a previous blogger stated it does not matter how you die! Once we are gone we are gone! But I am sorry that the circumstances about his passing were made public! Everyone has their own “private sex agenda” and it would be something interesting if one was a fly on the wall on some of these other persons in the entertainment industry!! But I thought he was a really great actor no matter what he chose for his private life. Everyone needs to respect his family and friends and not make stupid, childish remarks about this great actor!!!! God Bless all his family and close friends!!!
