Ted Sampley has died but he was honorably discharged from service and ten years later he became a leading advocate for Vietnam POWs.
Vietnam veteran and former Green Beret, Ted Sampley, led the National Steering Committee for American War Veterans, whose efforts included searching for human remains in Vietnam in 1998.
