The whole thing about Matt Damon heckled at the Spike TV “Guys Choice” Awards was that it was all in good fun with Matt sticking it to the Lakers fans in the LA audience because the NBA Finals Game 3 was coming up when they were taping the awards show.
Matt was heckled after telling the crowd what he thinks the Celtics will do to the Lakers.
“I’d like to let everyone know that categorically, positively, unequivocally, undeniably, we are going to kick your ass,” said Damon.
Damon also gave a shout out to the All-Star trio of Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce, and said, “I’m not going to switch teams just because I’m outnumbered.”
