Flight 93 Memorial – The Flight 93 Memorial to be built near Pittsburgh will cost taxpayers 58 million dollars after stealing landowners land.

The Flight 93 Memorial is slated to be completed by the 10th year anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks, and will consume 2,200 acres.

Some of the landowners do not want to give up their land for the Flight 93 Memorial, but the government has deemed it necessary to take it from them anyway.

Seven property owners still hold about 500 acres of the proposed site, and since negotiations have failed so far, the government will simply condemn the land and ’steal’ it from it’s rightful owner.

Want to know who the thank? The Supreme Court who ruled that the government can exercize it’s right to imminent domain anytime and anywhere it sees fit.

Do we really need a $58 million memorial spread over 2200 acres? 1stNews is as patriotic as they come, but $58 million? 2200 acres? Isn’t that a bit excessive?

We at 1stNews are sickened by the plans for the Flight 93 Memorial.
