Wesleyan University Shooting – A female victim has been shot near Wesleyan University in Connecticut at a Wesleyan Campus Bookstore.

The Wesleyan University shooting occured on Wednesday morning.

Police are asking students to remain indoors under voluntary lockdown until more is known about the Wesleyan University shooting.

The female victim is reportedly able to talk to police about a man who walked into the Wesleyan Campus Bookstore and shot her several times.
About the Wesleyan University shooting, Middletown mayor, Sebastian Giuliano, stated that a gunman walked into Broad Street Books and shot the female victim several times.
Guiliano also said that the shooting was not random and poses no threat to the public. Students and faculty were notified about the Wesleyan shooting by text, email, and voicemail.
