White House Halloween Treats – During an interview with Jay Leno President Obama admitted that the treats for trick-or-treaters at the White House may not be popular.

White House Halloween treats are healthy

Obama even said that he thinks the White House could get egged based on what the First Lady, Michelle Obama, has in store for visiting children. (We doubt the secret service would let that happen.)

The president said that Michelle Obama may have taken her crusade for kids to eat healthy a step too far. So what is in the candy bowl at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave?

No candy at all according to Mr. Prez. It’s kid’s fruit snacks and raisins. Now what trick-or-treater wouldn’t be excited to see fruit and raisins in their little pumpkin bucket?

On a more serious topic, The President also talked about the fall of Muammar Gaddafi with Jay Leno on the Tonight Show on Tuesday.

“This is somebody who, for 40 years, had terrorized his country, had supported terrorism and, he had an opportunity, during the Arab Spring, to finally let loose of his grip on power and to peacefully transition into democracy.

“We gave him ample opportunity but he wouldn’t do it … obviously, you never see anyone come to the kind of end that he did, but it sends a strong message around the world to dictators that people long to be free, and they need to respect the human rights and the universal aspirations of people.” He added that televising the bloody death of Gaddafi was, “not something we should relish.”

Continuing with the Leno interview, Obama also admitted that he does not like reality TV shows and has never seen The Kardashians.

And that’s the latest news about The President’s opinion about the White House Halloween Treats.
