Debra Bartoshevich – Pics and video of Debra Bartoshevich, the Clinton delegate stripped of her Democratic delegate status for suporting John McCain.

41-year old Debra Bartoshevich is an emergency-room nurse and was an elected Democratic delegate when she told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel – after Hillary Clinton lost – that she would support John McCain over Barack Obama.
A political firestorm erupted over Bartoshevich’s remark and she was voted out as a delegate 23-0 on June 25th because she was no longer considered a “bona fide Democrat” by Wisconsin Democratic Party officials.

No political dummy, John McCain and his wife Cindy arranged to meet with Debra on June 31st to ask for her campaign support.
The result? A classic political campaign ad (video below) angling for the votes of the disaffected Clinton supporters who’ve feel like they’ve been abandoned by the Democratic Party.
John McCain Ad Text:
DEBRA BARTOSHEVICH: I’m a proud Hillary Clinton Democrat.
She had the experience and judgment to be President.
Now, in a first for me, I’m supporting a Republican, John McCain.
I respect his maverick and independent streak, and now he’s the one with the experience and judgment.
A lot of Democrats will vote McCain. It’s okay, really!
JOHN MCCAIN: I’m John McCain and I approved this message.
